Teacher training in karnataka

  1. Karnataka is a big state in India. It is in south India. It has six crore population.
  2. Since independence, it had only 71 teacher training colleges (B.Ed Colleges)to train secondary school teachers in this state. That means, there was control of state govt. & central govt. on opening such colleges.
  3. But , in 2003 Indian govt. took a decision to liberalize higher education by permitting all those private managements to open higher education institutions, like medical, engineering , and teacher training colleges,(of course, through proper agencies) if they fulfill the norms prescribed by concerned autonomous agencies set up by central government.
  4. In India , A body called 'National council for Teacher Education' is the key body to decide whether permission is to be given to a particular management to open a teacher training college, or not. It has a southern regional office at Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka,to look after such applications in five southern states in India.
  5. This body, after sending visiting teams to all such places from where it had received applications for permission to open fresh B.Ed colleges, permitted the opening of about 230 B.Ed colleges in Karnataka.By this , total number of B.Ed colleges jumped up from 71 to 300 instantly. It happened in December 2003.
  6. That means , It had taken almost 50 years to have 71 B.Ed colleges in the state. But in only one year, the number was increased by four times.
  7. The bad effect is being experienced within three years. Each college has an intake capacity of 100. That means ,totally about 3,00,00 graduates are necessary to fill these colleges and make them run economically. But such number is not emerging from the colleges in the state. Out of state students are also not coming because, they also have enough number of such colleges.
  8. The managements have spent more than 50 lakhs of rupees per college. Annual recurring expenditure ( if salary according to govt. rules is paid)will be about 15 lakhs of rupees.(1 u.s. dollar =46 rupees)State govt has permitted to collect rs. 38000-00 per student who comes to take admission under management quota seats. But nobody is coming forward to take seat by paying such fees. They are asking for admission at lesser fee like rs.15,000 or ,20,000. Even at that rate , seats are not getting filled.
  9. State govt. has reserved 50% of seats in each college to be allotted to merited students for a lesser fee of rs.10,000.But in about 50% of the colleges, it has been able to allot so many students!
  10. now the condition has become so pathetic that-

(a) Managements can not close the colleges because of unemployment to already employed people , & wastage of invested funds.

(b)They have to allow malpractices to attract students.

(c) They have to keep low- paid staff or part-time staff.

11 As a result of all this, the quality of teacher-education is deteriorating.

12 This is the condition of teacher-education in many parts of India since just two years.

13 But this can not continue for long. Within two years, only those managements, who can pool funds from other sources and run institutions qualitatively , will survive & others will close down.

14. Six months after publishing this hub, now there is the news that-about twenty colleges have intimated the department not to allot government seats as they are going to close down their colleges.

15. It has been found out by the examination committee that nearly 17 colleges in Bangalore university jurisdiction alone have conducted practical exams without getting approval from the university for their time-table and panel of examiners.

16 Modification in paras 14 and 15 effected on 13-11-2007.

I was looking for any articale regarding the after effects and advantages of Liberlisation of Education in India as such can you suggest something...?

prasadjain profile image

prasadjain Hub Author 3 years ago

Dear Sruthi,

This has done both positive and negetive effeects.

Positive effects:

1.Higher education has become cheaper and nearrer to home

2 Monopoly of few institutions and managements, has gone.

Bad effects:

!.People have started higher educational institutions with the ambition that they can make money, or atleast, institutions can manage themselves. But now there are no takers for management seats. EVen government seats whaich are to be allotted on merit and reservztion basis have remained in excess. this has happened in Engineering and education.Even nurasing ciourses are not being asked this year.

2 This has resulted in following effects:

a) managents are struggling to maintain colleges. They are telling staff to bring students.

b) They are cutting down staff. i.e. they are pushing with only part-time staff.

c) staff is much under-paid.

d) Infrastructure is now being withdrawn. To cite my own example,my management has closed language-laboratory in order to provide space to another course.

e) colleges are unofficially closed. For eg- In Bangalore alone about 30 B.Ed colleges are unofficially closed. i.e. they get only 20-30 students. 2-3 such colleges combine students and teach.

f) Unfair practices have stated in professdionaL COLLEGES. They give attendence to students eventhough they do not attend colleges, permit mal-practice in exams, etc.

I think this is enough for time being.

I have a BE degree in computer science.( BMS College) . I worked in corporate for about 5.5 years. I always wanted to teach and love maths. Since you have lots of experience could you please guide me as to how to go about doing this? Do I have to take some courses etc? I would prefer distant learning since I have a small baby to take care of. Please guide me.Waiting for your reply.

Dear ma'm,

only B.A. and B.Sc graduates are allowed to take B.Ed course. On completing B.Ed course, you can become a high school techer. As you have not done these courses, you can not take B.Ed.But as you have done p.u.c.,you can take D.Ed course, which enables you take up teching at higher primary schools.

Good maths and science teachers are the need of the day.In my experience, I have seen good maths teachers with a bed heart. So, people like you with simple and sobre character help much to shape younger minds.

But the remuneration for teachers is very less when compared to your earning as an engineer.

I think you can become teacher in another way.You can finish M.E and take up teacher's job in an engineering college.Noew a days, evening classes are also there.

But if your interest is to teach little children. then, what i have suggested above is the best method.

If you wish to tech in your leisure time, just for the enjoyment of teaching, and being with little hearts, then no such qualification is necessery. You can just convey you such willingness and take up the sparetime teaching job in  a school near to your home.

For other information, you can write to me at prasadjain@sancharnet.in

Dear Mr. Subhash,

Doing B.Ed is fully necessery to get the teacher's job. Maths teachers are in high demand.Definetely you can earn much. But you should be thorough in the subject.

B.Ed helps you to become teacher in a secondary school. After doinbg it, you can proceed for M.Sc in Maths. Now a days, external courses are also available in msaths M.Sc.M.Sc helps you to get a job in colleges.

You can earn much in tuitions.

prasadjain Hub Author 2 years ago

Dear Mr. Ramesh,

You complete your hard, expensive engineering course, as you are in the final year. You have already put in much time and money for it. There is every chance you get a job after that, or, you can do something on your own.

After completing engineering also you can join D.Ed course,on the basis of your p.u.c.(Not SSLC) marks. For that, you have to take entrance test organised by 'Central Admission Cell'. Examination willbe conducted in all dist. centres in the state. This you have to take only if you are keen on getting a govt. seat(fee-Rs.11,000).But if you are not keen about management seatand ready for management seat(Feee will be about 35% more than that of govt.seat), you need not take enterance exam. You can directly book a management seat in any D.Ed college.

D.Ed is a two year course and ,a t the begining , you may get about 7000/- salary according to govt.scale.But, if you do not get a govt job and work in a private school you may get a far lesser salary.

I suggest you to keenly observe and grab chances in your engineering carreer only. You cannot get a seat for B.Ed.

Dear Sir,

Can you please tell me what is the starting salary for a government primary teacher.

prasadjain profile image

prasadjain Hub Author 19 months ago

Answers:

1. Mrs/Miss Manasi,

only physically handicapped candidates can get a seat for 40%,not others.

2.Mr. Raghu,

While I appreciate your interest in teacher education, I advise you not to start a D.Ed college as the existing colleges are not getting even necessery candidates and managements are trying hard to make both ends meet. Even colleges with good infrastructure are not getting seats. Better you start a good school in a rural area.

3Miss Apoorva,

starting salary for a primary school teacher in Karnataka according to govt. scale is around Rs.7000/.

A high school teacher gets around 10,000/-

Thanks to you all. Excuse me for not replaying early.

ravi 18 months ago

Sir,

I inquired about the B.Ed course (under management quota) that is going to start from January 2011 in two of the colleges near to my locality (kr puram). The colleges i inquired are 1. New Horizon College of Education (Indiranagar) 2.MVJ College of Education (Marathahalli). MVJ College looks affordable when it comes to fee. But i don't know whether it falls under 'one of the good b.ed colleges in bangalore' category or not. Please let me know if you know any details about the college. Or else please let me know few more good colleges (where classes will be conducted regularly and without any history of malpractice or irregularities) apart from the 3 listed in your earlier post. Also please suggest is it advisable to pay more amount (more than double the amount) to join colleges like New Horizon or any other similar branded colleges. Is there any added advantage. Or is it advisable to join any affordable (and good) college and finish the course. Does the college where we do B.Ed play any major role while looking out for jobs. Please clarify my questions soon.

prasadjain profile image

prasadjain Hub Author 18 months ago

Mr.Ravi.

Fee fixed by govt.for management seats in an unaided B.Ed college is Rs.38,000/-.But, due to heavy competition among colleges, no college is getting that fee from students. They are offering for lesser fee.

I know anout both the colleges mentioned by you. MVJ college had improved itself from the year 2000-01.Earlier the administration was not so good.New horizon college is good from the begining.Dr.Ambedkar college in Kurubarahalli is another good college. But it may be far from your place.(that is an aided college). You can join either of the colleges. But in my opinion,New Horizon is better, eventhough it is bit costly.

Job doesn't depend on from which college you pass B.Ed(though private schools concider that point also, For govt.Jobs, that is not the criteria). It is how you master the skill of teaching, and how you score in teachers' selection exam, that counts.GOOD LUCK.

ravi 18 months ago

Sir,

Unfortunately when i was so excited about taking up the admission for B.Ed i come to know that i am not eligible for B.Ed with .3 percent. My aggregate score when calculated is 49.7. I did my B.A (hons) English from Calcutta University (and M.A as well) where only the main paper (honours) is considered to calculate whether we scored 60% or 50% and will award 1st class or 2nd class depending on that. In that way i was under the impression that i was eligible as i scored above 50% in honours. And unfortunately the aggregate of all the subjects including optionals has made my B.Ed dreams disappear (atleast through Bangalore University in regular mode). I think that "50% in aggregate" rule is so unfair especially when there are many differences in awarding the scores between university to university and between course to course (like arts to science). Atleast they should consider the candidate's highest degree's (Post Grad.) percentage.

Now i am thinking of doing B.Ed through correspondence (IGNOU or KSOU) but that requires teaching experience of 2 years. Please let me know will the schools consider a candidate's profile without a B.Ed. Or my Post Grad. qualification is enough to try searching out for teaching jobs? And please let me know which is the better approach to search for teaching jobs. Is it better to visit the schools in person with profile Or post the resume in any job search website and wait for the calls. Please give me your valuable suggestions for the job search without B.Ed but with a degree and post grad. degree.

prasadjain Hub Author 18 months ago

Dear Mr.Ravi,

Don't loose hopes. There are many ways to live. When God closes one door, he opens another.

1. You can try to get a job in Junior colleges(teaching to pre- university classes),where, B.Ed is not mandatory, but M.A.Is a must. There is great demand for English M.A. graduates. You can also try to get teaching job in gulf countries. They require graduates. For schools, B.Ed is a must. But CBSE pattern schools sometimes temporarily appoint non-B.Ed graduates, if they are good in English, even though they are not B.Ed holders. That dependes on necessity.

2.Scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students and physically handicapped sts.can be admitted to B.Ed, even if they are 45%

3. If you join a junior college, then after 2 years, you can do B.Ed through KSOU or IGNOU

4 To get jobs, you should try both ways. Register your name in websites like www.naukri.com and also approach schools with your profile.

I an just 12th pass from commerce stream and I have also completed my equivalent graduate exam with 50% from Hindi Rastrabhasha Prachar Samity,Vardha , Maharastra.

I do also have 3 years experience in teaching math and science ( english medium )at one of the ICSE board affiliatd school in gujarat. Can I appear for the enterance exam.

prasadjain profile image

prasadjain Hub Author 17 months ago

Dear Mr.Sharma,

if your degree is in Hindi, you can join Hindi B.Ed course which will run in Hindi medium. There are such colleges in almost every part of Karnataka.Commerce is not allowed for B.Ed admission.

You can approach some B.Ed colleges which have Hindi as one of teaching methodology subjects.New horizon college at Bangalore, Krishna college at Tumkur , are some such examples. But you should show clear proof that the exam you have passed is equalent to degree.

Another way is also there. As you have 3 years experience, you can do B.Ed as external candidate.IGNOU, Karnataka state open university, provide such courses. You an do these courses while earning elsewhere.

If you can meet any person who has applied for govt. B.Ed seat, he can give the prospectus book. That has the list and adresses of all B.Ed colleges in the state. The list also shows whether Hindi method is available there or not.If you cannot get such a person, you visit 'Central Admission cell' (CAC) opposite to Kaveri Bhavan on Kempegowda road, Bangalore, and ask them to give alist of BedColleges in the state.

However, now, the allotment of Govt.seats is over. You can try for mnagement seats only.

Hello Sir,

I have done my Master's in Chemistry from University of Mysore. I am working in Bangalore in a bioinformatics company. But i have to shift to Mysore after my marriage as my fiancee is working in Mysore. So, i want to do my B.Ed. How can i do B.Ed. Is there any correspondence courses as the regualar course fee will be very high.

prasadjain profile image

prasadjain Hub Author 14 months ago

Sister Sushma,

Karnataka State Open University(KSOU) about which you must have definetely heard, runs external courses in B.Ed.It is a two years course. But you have to produce a certificate taht you have worked for three years after your degree(B.Sc) at some school. That certificate should be countersigned by concerned DDPI.

You need not take that much patience.Book a management seat at some college in Mysore city nearer to your home( you can get seat at competetive rate, say-16,000 to 22,000) and finish course in 10 months. Next academic year commences from January.

You can also try government seat, by taking common entrance exam in August. You will surely get a seat. But may not be in the college convenient to you. The difference in fees will be much less.It will be only about 5,000/-

Let your fiancee bear the expences...ha..ha...ha...

dear sir,

right now iam doing M.com final year, iam interested in teaching field, whether iam eligible to apply for pu college lecturer(govt posts). please suggest me in this regard.

prasadjain profile image

prasadjain Hub Author 13 months ago

Yes, after completing your M.Com with atleast 55% of marks, you will be eligible to apply for PU college lecturer's post. But, some state governments are recently insisting on b.Ed degree for PU college lecturers also. The idea behind this is- to force lecturers to have a systematic knowledge of theory and practice of the function called education. So, if you have time, you can enroll for B.Ed after your M.Com. But only some universities are admitting commerce students to B.Ed course.

Another thing you can think of is- to take UGC or SLET exam, to enable yourself to get appointment in degree colleges. That is essential. You have to work hard, to get through that.

What could be the fate of B.Ed and D.Ed colleges especially in Bangalore in the years to come? Is there any possibility of turning all or many of these be turned into in-service institutions? What can we fore see with this trend of choice towards teacher education. I also noticed there are very few students with science background. Please let me know.

prasadjain profile image

prasadjain Hub Author 10 months ago

Dear Latha,

The fate of B.Ed colleges is very clear as the writing on the wall. Many managements ambitiously opened B.Ed/D.ed colleges without thinking from where can they get students.in 2005, according to Bangalore University list, there were 107 B.Ed colleges. i visited some colleges as the member of Coordination board member then. But now at least 20 are unofficially closed. There are colleges which are getting only 10-20 students.Hence, though officially, many collegesa re there, properly functioning colleges are less than 50 in Bangalore university area.2-3 colleges combine together their students and run the classes.

The position is-there are more givers than takers.Less graduates are coming out, than there are number of seats.

Ultimately, only those, who wait with patience, maintaining quality, will survive. Many D.ED colleges are going to close this year, following the dearth of students

Mr.Naveen,

RIE at Bangalore is a prestigious institution. But i do not know whether they are running B.Ed courses. they are running courses related to English language, literature, speech, etc. If they are running B.Ed course, you can definetely join it. On the otherhand,Regional College of Education(RCE) Mysore is running prestigious B.ED courses. IGNOU is conducting only External courses. Doing B.Ed regularly is much better.

Dear Ms.Jasmin,

1. B.Ed is a course meant for persons who wish to become high school teachers. But now governments are taking steps to make b.Ed compulsory for Junior college lecturers also. So,it is better to do B.ED if you can spare 10 months.

2. You can join B.Ed and take biological science and Chemistry as your teaching methods.

3 After completing B.Ed, you can do M.Ed.That qualification is required to become a lecturer in B.Ed colleges.

4. There are many good B.ed colleges in Bangalore city area. Some of them are the following:

a) M.E.S. College of Education, 2nd block,Rajaji Nagar

b) Dr.Ambedkar Memorial college of Education, kurubarahally(after Basaveshwar Nagar)Bangalore

c) K.T.S.V. College of Education, 3rd block, Rajaji nagar,

d)R.V.Teachers College,Jayanagar 2nd block

e)Christ College of Education, Near Bangalore Dairy, Hosur Road, Bangalore

If you visit any B.ED college there, you can get the list of B.ED colleges there. you can select. but the colleges mentioned in the above list, especially first four, are renowned colleges.

Apart from these, Vijaya College and Al-Ameen college are also good. Address is given above

Wish you Best of Luck.

Presently, there is no provision to study B.Ed for b.Com students. Reason is, commerce is not a school subject. But you can take up D.Ed training on your P.U.C. qualification basis. Then you can become Primary school teacher. In Kerala, there is provision for B.Com graduates to undergo b.Ed training.

please provid me the details of mysore and bangalore b.ed colleges hindi language.

prasadjain Hub Author 6 months ago

There are about 3 Hindi B.Ed colleges in Mysore and about 8 in Bangalore. The details are not available in Govt. B.Ed seats application forms book, as no B.Ed seats are allotted to them from Govt.

I would like to suggest you to join normal B.Ed course, with Hindi as one of the methods. but for this, you must be a normal graduate, with 50% marks. If you are only a Rashtrabhasha Visharada, you cannot get seat in normal b.Ed colleges.

You can also get the details from "Secretery, Mysore Hindi Prachara Parishat , Shankarapuram, Bangalore-4" about B.ED colleges in Hindi medium.

Dear Mr. Shital,

These two colleges are near your area.

1.Dr.Ambedkar College of Education,Kurubarahally

2. M.E.S. College of Education,2nd Block, Rajaji Nagar,

Apart from these two, Basaveshwara college of EDucation is also there, nearby M.E.S. college itself.

You have to take Biology and Chemistry as your methods of Teaching. Other subjects are Compulsory.

Next Academic year starts from December, hurry up!

Sir, I have taken admission for B.Ed course from Oxford Educational Society , JP Nagar .. I have completed B.Sc with Chemistry,Economics ,Statistics as main subjects.. which subjects will get for my B.Ed course ? I am keen on teaching economics as this is the area of my interest. Also tell me what will be the estimated pay after this course .. as I am in need of money. Please reply asap..

prasadjain profile image

prasadjain Hub Author 5 months ago

Dear Shalini,

As you are a B.Sc graduate, you have to take,Chemistry and mathematics as your teaching methods.Apart from these, you have to study following papers compulsorily.

1 Education in Emerging India

2 Secondary Education in India

3 Information and communication Technology(50 marks)

4Methodology of Teaching Ghemictry

5Methodology of Teaching maths 6.Ednl.Psychology

This is for I semester. For the second semester, you have 5 papers. All details will be told to you in your college, in the begining itself.

i think you are studying in English medium.i have written text books on Secondary Education, ICT ( for1st sem) and other books for Second sem also. they are widely appreciated by students. They are user friendly books in simple style. They are available in Sapna book stall,Gandhi Nagar, and other leading book stall, at Avenue road. They are low priced editions. You can purchase them. the publishers are -Sumukha book house, Near Toll gate circle, Magadi road, Bangalore

You cannot tech Economics as you are not properly qualified for it. You can become a teacher in Chemistry. You have to do your M.A. in Economics,a nd then become a lecturer After passing SLET/UGC test.

As a high school teacher you will get about 10,000/as salary if you get govt. job.Otherwise, in private schools, you may get only 6000/ rupees

Prachi 5 months ago

Dear sir,

I did B.sc and M.sc in microbiology. and now

I want to do B.ed from M.V.J. college of education. Can you please tell me that college review. Is this college good for me?. I am very confuse.. Please give me suggetion

prasadjain profile image

prasadjain Hub Author 5 months ago

Miss.Krishnaveni,

As for as i know, there is no aided B.Ed college near Yalahanka. You need not bother whether a college is aided or not. Now a days, in both cases, you are getting seat at the almost same cost.Just see whether the college has sufficient good staff or not. In B.Ed college,One principal plus seven lecturers should be

there. Even if one is less, it doesn't matter.Apart from Electronics, what are your other subjects in B.Sc?If it is physics or Maths, you can take B.Ed. Go and enquire in a nearby B.ED college. This is the time when new academic year starts.

Miss, Prachi, were you sleeping all these days? For B.Ed seats, advertisement was given in news papers, applications were called, and seats are already allotted. But even now it is not late.M.V.J college is not a bad college. But New Horizon College in Indira Nagar is still better. After all, it is just ten months course. Experienced staff is there at MvJ also. There is no reason to get confused. Go ahead and do what you have to do. B.ED is not a difficult course. but you have to write much.

G.krishnaveni 5 months ago

Thank you for the reply. As for my subject i had two papers maths, four papers related to physics is it o.k?.can you suggest few near by b.ed colleges(yelahanka).

prasadjain profile image

prasadjain Hub Author 5 months ago

Yes, you have to take Physics and Maths as subjects under teaching methodology.

i have not visited any B.ED college in Yalahanka area. you just visit and make and inquiry about it.

Additional Note:

Four years after publishing this hub, I wish to bring to readers' mind, the developments taken place in this field.

Unfortunately, what I had told 4 years ago, has come true. There are no sufficient applications before govt. committee, to allot 50 seats per college. One good thing Karnataka govt.has done is that,it has Brought 22 old B.ED colleges under Grant-in aid code. There by, they are kept out of danger of closing.Majority of Colleges are have not filled 100 seats i.e.their capacity.

Dear Sir,

I have plans to do my Ded but my percentage is less in +2. Please suggest me on this. I tried in many colleges but they are asking for 50% and above. Please guide me.

prasadjain profile image

prasadjain Hub Author 5 months ago

Dear Haripriya,

for neglecting your studies at +2 level, you have to suffer now. Really, while wasting time, students do not know what great thing they are wasting.Only for SC,STs and physically handicapped persons, admission to D.Ed/B.Ed will be given at 45%.If you can get such a certificate, you can get admission.

Thank you Sir for your quick reply. Yes sir it's very late. Actuly recently we shifted from Nagpur (Maharashtra)to Bangalore. and I did my whole education from Nagpur only..

Is it so Prachi, then i am sorry for passing harsh comments on you. you should immediately get your migration certificate from Nagpur university. ( I know Nagpur well).Though it is not necessary at the beginning itself, They won't send it, and you will not be allowed to take exam.Inquire some nearby college, and try to get Migration certificate through friends?relatives.Best of Luck

prasadjain profile image

prasadjain Hub Author 4 months ago

Dear Mr. Bhanoth,

Your brother can do D.ED after passing his intermediate.

but, if he is doing inter in other state, then he has to bring his T.C. from that college, duely signed by concerned department official, before producing it here. Contact any D.ED college office and they will tell you in detail.

Mr. Prasanna, You may not be eligible to do Hindi B.Ed.

And, in Karnataka, B.Com graduates are not eligeble for b.Ed course. But, you can do D.Ed,that leads to become a primary school teacher.

I cannot publish my phone number here, as i will have to receive number of calls even for petty points. If you have still problem, contact me through hubpages itself. That comes to my email box. Then i will answer you personally.

I have written many books for B.ED,covering the syllabus of Tumkur and Bangalore Universities, mainly. You can ask for my books at book stalls in bangalore and Tumkur. Or, you can visit "Sumukha Book House-Toll gate circle, Magadi Road, Bangalore" and purchase books.

By your question it is clear that, you are not attending classes. Otherwise, you would have known the tittle of books by this time.

I have financial crisis so I cannot leave my job and do b ed. How can i do b ed through correspondence, i have no experience in working in a recognised school THen how will i do my b ed. Is there is no hope for me. Inspite of five years of teaching experience, I cannot do b ed through distance mode. Recognised schools are not offering jobs to non b ed in Kerala. What should I do?

KIndly guide me.

prasadjain profile image

prasadjain Hub Author 2 months ago

Dear Sister,

Is not the school you are working, is a recognized school? How can they run a school without getting permission from the department? If it is a recognized one,( may be without grants, that doesn't matter,)then you can take B.ED correspondence course through any of these following universities:

1.Karnataka open University, Manasagangotri, Mysore-570006.

2.IGNOU- New Delhi

3.Annamalai University(Directorate of Distance Education), Annamali Nagar,Chidambaram,Tamil Nadu.

Many other universities also have Distance Education courses in B.ED.

But, This type of B.ED course is usually of 2 years.( AT Annamali University it is of One year only). And you have to atend two sessions of Contact programmes of usually ten days.

You have many doors open. Be happy. May God bless you.

prasadjain profile image

prasadjain Hub Author 2 months ago

Go and enquire in any book shop.Or, ask your lecturer. Without telling the university you belong to, the methods chosen by you, how can i suggest books. Most of our students are like this only. They just want a pass with very good marks, without bothering to know by reading many books. They do not listen to lectures;they do not work themselves.Or they relay on copying from other's writings and get through somehow!

If it is an application through the department, then there are chances. But if you have applied privately without informing the department, then it will not continue. If you have put in a shorter service like 5-7 years, then you need not bother. Otherwise, if you have put in long service of 15-20 years, then you will loose much in the form of pension.

MBA candidates will be selected for job taking into count from which institution they have done it.Though it is not the rule, it is the custom.

To be a successful teacher, along with knowledge, absence of stage fear is necessary.AS you have put in 12 years of service and dealt with different kinds of people, I don't think handling of class is a difficult thing for you. To become a lecturer, Passing NET(National Education Test) is also necessary. I think it is better if you pursue for higher managerial jobs instead of teaching. If you want further details, write to me personally through hub pages. I shall answer to your email address.Good luck

You have to inquire it with a Hindi b.ED college. It may be less than Rs.8000/-

prasadjain profile image

prasadjain Hub Author 4 days ago

Yes, dear Child, you can do it definitely. You have to take Hindi and another subject under teaching methodology.Perhaps you may have to take History.( i hope you have studied it as another optional subject).Call for for B.ED next batch will be usually made in August9 after the announcement of Final degree results. But you need not wait for that. now a days Management seats are also available at a feasible rate. You may get it around Rs.18,000/- So you can approach a nearby B.ED college and inquire. But less colleges have Hindi as one of the method subject. You should collect information which college near to your town has it. Good luck
